San Francisco City Views at Rooftop Bar Charmaine's

Charmaine's is a swanky rooftop bar and lounge atop the Prosper Hotel in San Francisco, just around the corner from Market Street. It's not located in the best area, so we took a Lyft to the door of the hotel.

When you arrive, you get checked in at the door, and ride the elevator up to the rooftop. When you step out, you are greeted with this spectacular view, all around you.

The weather was perfect when I went with a group of girlfriends to celebrate a birthday. We gathered around our own fire pit and had our drinks, followed by dinner.

Both were superb - especially the fish tacos I had. I only wish there was more! The potatoes on the side were really crispy and delicious. It was a little hard to eat with the plate on my lap, but there were side tables to put your plates on.

As the sun set, with golden hour, it's the perfect time to take your selfies and Instagram shots amidst the backdrop of the city.

Fun place for date night or hanging out with friends.

And then when night falls, it gets even more cozy by the fireplace which keeps you toasty and warm! We of course finished the night off with some sweet desserts and a happy birthday song to the birthday girl!

Overall, Charmaine's is a beautiful and fun place to hang out with very good drinks and food!!
