What to Cook for a Date Night Meal

If you've waited too last minute to secure a dinner reservation for tomorrow on Valentine's Day evening or you don't want to break the bank, you can opt to cook a homemade meal for your loved one! 💕

But then the question is, what to cook?? I like the combo featured in this video from Tia Mowry's YouTube channel. (She's from Sister Sister, the show we grew up watching, she literally looks like she hasn't aged a day!)

This is the meal she cooked for her husband on their first date when she wanted to impress him (well actually sadly they divorced but it's still a really cute video and good meal idea).

The written instructions on the recipe are here for the Shrimp Pasta and Pull Apart Cheesy Bread: https://www.kincommunity.com/blog/tias-shrimp-pasta-and-pull-apart-cheesy-bread

I made this for my hubby for an at-home date night a long time ago. You make your own pasta sauce from some tomato paste and pasta water. The dinner took me awhile to make because I'm not the greatest in the kitchen 🫠 but not too shabby! He helped me with the Parm shavings on top 😆

The bread was the star of the show! It has an insane amount of cheese and butter that I had to stuff between the layers of the bread. But it wowed my hubby so it worked! Advice: go for a really small boule of bread because you won't be able to finish this!

Enjoy your night in! 🥂
