If you are ever in the area of Buellton, California (about 40 mins away from Santa Barbara), may I strongly suggest that you stop for this llama and Alpaca Tour at Zaca Creek Ranch!!
First of all, the ranch is utterly gorgeous and so serene and peaceful. The fresh air, the sunshine, the rolling hills, the lush nature all around, the animals hanging out, chilling. Stepping foot here is like stepping into another world. You just want to take a deep breath and take it all in. Everything else fades away except for the present moment and absorbing it with all of your senses.

I guess my pictures don't really do it justice, so you will have to see it for yourself!
Sign up for a farm tour ahead of time (there is a cost per person) and then your tour guide (we had Cassidy who was very sweet!) will welcome you and show you around to the different animals. We saw goats, llamas, pigs, chickens, a cow, and alpacas! You can get right up close to the llamas and alpacas, pet them, and wow they're friendly with humans!

Hello! I like your hairdo!

Just chillin in the road lol

It's actually a cattle ranch, but I heard that the owners rescued these llamas and alpacas from Peru. ❤️ Looks like they have a good life here now!
We had a truly memorable time here, I encourage you to come visit! Especially great for kids!
