Farm fresh veggies from Tera Farm - Bay Area Farm Box Service

With food costs rising every day, a box of fresh produce from the farm to feed your family is a true luxury!

That's why I'm so excited to tell you about Tera Farm today! We've been using their service for months and it's an incredible find for people looking for organic healthy farm-fresh veggies at an affordable price and easy pickup in your neighborhood.

The reason why it's got such good prices is because Tera Farm is a nonprofit that helps local farms sell directly through this farm box service. So there's no middleman / distribution / delivery costs. You get to customize the box how you want and there's no subscription obligation, you order when you want the box that week.

For pickup, there's 30 sites across the Bay Area and Monterey Peninsula run by volunteers, so the deliveries go to these neighborhood sites on Saturday morning. Then by the time you wake up, you can go pick it up and enjoy the fresh produce that day and into the week!

During the summer we bought so many pounds of strawberries from them, they were such a treat to enjoy on the weekends, the kids loved them. They never lasted long!

Then when the store opens on Monday at 4pm, you will get an email and you can browse the store and check out with the items you want. The store closes Weds night at 11pm, so get your order in before then! Then pickup for the box is on Saturday.

May I also say the $15 Farmers Choice box is the most amazing deal ever!? 5-7 organic local veggies/fruits that are in season and selected by the farmer. I don't think you can find this price anywhere else!!

I believe they do recommend you purchase $25 or more, so I do usually add other things to the cart, some mushrooms, some extra greens, maybe some beets or some fruits. Everything is high quality and so fresh! The herbs are great too!!

I highly recommend you check them out! I enjoy their weekly newsletters too, explaining more about the produce, the farm, the farmers, tips on how to cook the produce, etc.. it makes you appreciate more about the food you're getting and the hard work that went into growing it.
