Recycle empty beauty product containers with Nordstrom BEAUTYCYCLE

Beauty products can have beautiful packaging but some of it can be hard to recycle in our local curbside recycling bins. I personally hate discarding an empty bottle of hair or makeup product in the trash because I know it will end up in the landfill.

Luckily, I found out that Nordstrom has this recycling program called BEAUTYCYCLE for empty hair care, makeup, skincare product containers like bottles, tubes, dispensers, and more. They even accept sample size products (except perfumes). For the full list of what's accepted, check out their site.

Just drop off your items in this large pink recycling bin that's found in the beauty department of your local Nordstrom store. Ask a sales rep if you can't find the bin because sometimes it moves locations.

I was accumulating a bag of stuff to recycle and just dropped it off the other day. It feels much better recycling these things than throwing them in the garbage. Hope you can recycle some of your stuff too!
