Beautiful Sand Hill Sundeck Restaurant in Menlo Park featuring Seasonal Bay Area Ingredients on the Menu

This restaurant is a hidden gem nestled among the office buildings off Sand Hill Road in Menlo Park. It's got beautiful, modern decor with high attention to detail in the food and quality of it.

It's not too crowded on a Friday for lunch when we went, so it seems like not many people know about this place! Look how bright and stunning the dining room is! You can eat indoors or outdoors on the patio.

We ordered the crispy brussel sprouts and potato wedges to start and they were so good. Especially the potato wedges, they were perfection! You must order them. Delicately crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, plus some sauce on the side - chef's kiss! 😘

For entrees, hubby got the Cobb salad which he said was alright.

I got the Grilled Salmon Puttanesca and wowww it was so good! Perfectly cooked and packed so much flavor in the fish, in the charred cauliflower steak it was sitting on top of, and the sauce below it. I want to recreate this combo at home!

The ingredients just tasted so fresh and everything seemed like it was made with such intention and care. Service was attentive and lovely too!

There's also a coffee bar and to go section for pizzas and other packaged goods like a little pantry.

They even had seaweed so I got kombu and wakame as well! Excited to cook these at home. 😀

The head chef (I think he was the head chef) explained that he gets the ingredients from FEED Sonoma which is a network of small farms/producers, and if you look up their website they also have a CSA for the public too, in addition to wholesale. Good to know!

I like how conscientious they are about sourcing high quality local seasonal ingredients which is exemplified in how well they cook and present their dishes too. 👌 Bravo!

I would totally come back to this place for a quiet, delicious lunch and I would tell friends/family about it too! 🤗
