Pasture raised chickens from Pasturebird

Having watched food documentaries, it really made me be conscious of what type of meat we buy such as grass fed or pasture raised, both for environmental reasons as well as health because it's what we put into our bodies. And the latest thing I'm really into is chicken from Pasturebird.

It's pretty amazing and refreshing to hear how thoughtful their practices are in truly raising chickens on pastures with mobile coops so they can be rotated daily. They practice transparency and even have tours of their farm open to the public!

Because of the way they farm, I have been supporting them by ordering chicken from them. I have tried their wings, drumsticks, whole chicken, and thighs. All are good! You can taste the quality.

I put my order in online because I don't know of any local Bay Area grocery stores that carry this brand.

Right now they're even having a promo for a whole rotisserie chicken for free on orders over $200, so you better believe that I stocked up!! If you order a certain amount (lower than that) you also get a free pack of drumsticks too.

Honestly, consider pasture raised chicken and also I've been trying to eat less red meat, so stocking up on chicken for the freezer made sense. It makes cooking at home logistically a little bit easier too!
