Indian Lunch Buffet at Sakoon in Mountain View

This is our favorite Indian lunch buffet! I'm getting hungry just thinking about this place. Sakoon is located on Castro Street in downtown Mountain View close to the parking lot on California Ave.

They have a lot of delicious choices and some of the highlights are the crispy chili fish, butter chicken, veggie pakora, naan, and mango lassi.

$10.99 for kids age 3 to 9

Under 3 years old is free!

The price is good for the quality and quantity of food!

I could eat naan for days..

It has a classy vibe inside with white tablecloths and cloth napkins, accent lighting to add to the ambience, and great service. But no worries, you don't need to dress up to come.

There's even a second floor as well.

Lots of seating in the back too for groups, and a private area in the back.

This place is great, it's a staple of downtown Mountain View. It's been here forever! We come here when we are craving Indian food and leave very satisfied!

At night for dinner, you can order things a la carte. There's no buffet. It is a little more pricey, but the quality is just as good if not better. But we prefer the lunch buffet so you can try ALL the things! This places gets crowded though by noon!
