Weekday Open Play for Kids at Lemon Tree Event in Santa Clara

Lemon Tree is this cute event playspace in Santa Clara for hosting birthday parties / special events with lots of fun toys and spaces for kids to use their imagination. My friend discovered this place and hosted a party for her child here, and I've been meaning to come check it out for over a year now!

Since they're booked for parties on the weekends, you can't go there for drop-in play during the weekends. You can only go there on certain weekdays for open play (e.g. Tues - Thurs from 10am-2pm at the time of writing this post). So finally on our little one's spring break, we were able to check out Lemon Tree for the first time!

This ice cream thing was apparently a hit with the kids and caused some kerfuffles..

Here's the seating area where they have parties and food, or the parents can chill here. Actually the whole space is really nice because you know the area is child-proof and kids can play while parents can chit chat with each other. A welcome break :)

There's more details on the site on hosting an event/party at the venue. I believe the max is 35 guests allowed including adults + children over 2 (children under 2 don't count toward the max).

For the details on which days of the week they have open play, check out their site. And currently it's $25 for a child for 2 hours of play, and we came with a friend. I would totally come back!
